Policy Priorities
We believe in legislative action and deep community outreach to empower parents and students and accelerate the growth of multilingual education in Rhode Island. We are committed to pushing bills in the Rhode Island House and Senate that will build up state and district capacity to serve multilingual learners (formerly known as English learners) and provide opportunities for all students to become multilingual and interculturally competent.
Programming
We believe that everyone has a language journey, and our programming reflects that. Join us weekly for our English and Spanish Language Exchange. A fun, casual space where both Spanish speakers and English speakers can practice speaking and listening, learn from one another, share their language skills, and build community.
Workshops
Our workshops are designed to bridge information gaps about bilingual education, dispel common myths about multilingualism, and empower community members with the skills needed to advocate for programs and causes that best support all students.
